STRUCTURE AND MOVEMENT PRINCIPLE |
ROTARY VANE VACUUM PUMP |
Like as Fig1-1(a) it is composed of the rotor with blades grooved and the front and back cover of cylinder being the eccentric shape. Like as Figure(1) the air is inhaled into cylinder through the suction port. As this process continues just before passing by the suction port the inhaled air is confined between blades like as Figure(4) for the blade to pass the suction port. After passing by the valve like as Figure(5) compression is started. As the exhaustion valve is openned after the enough compression (about over 850 Torr) the compressed air is extruded through the exhaustion valve. |
SELECTION METHOD OF VACUUM PUMP |
CONSIDERED MATTERS FOR SELECTION OF VACUUM PUMP |
- Size of vacuum container
- Vacuum degree tobe required
- Character and quantity of gas to extruded
- Working times to be wanted
- Effect of piping to make influence on pumping speed.
SELECTION METHOD |
In order to finish the vacuum system from the some certain pressure up to the required pressure in the necessary time it is important to know the required capacity of vacuum pump. As the condition of vacuum system makes the considerable influence to the exhaustion. At this method the ultimate vacuum coefficient from the experiential is used. The pump down factor (F) is changed according to the pump to be used and a function of vacuum degree.
In spite of the difference of pump used commercially it is available to show the average valve of the Pump down factor together with the vacuum degree.
This curve is shown at |
| S=FV/t |
F: pump down factor V: vacuum reaching time (min) t: container size(l) S: pumping speed (l/min)
